MOVING FORWARD
Relocation to new premises gives Zaio scope for future growth
The Zaio team is looking forward to welcoming clients and colleagues to their
new home. On March 28, Zaio’s U.S. subsidiary, Zaio Inc., moved its headquarters
to a dynamic new facility in Scottsdale, AZ.
According to Network Administrator John Wojcik, the new building is
state-of-the-art, with ample space and infrastructure to accommodate growth.
Features such as a 100-meg Internet connection will help Zaio respond more
effectively to current and future client needs.
A key consideration in planning the move, says Cami Grevson, Executive Assistant
to the Chief Operating Officer, was a location that would house a rapidly
growing staff, while reflecting the Company’s innovative and progressive nature.
The new Scottsdale address – Suite 200, 9200 E. Pima Center Parkway – also
offers excellent access to the airport and major thoroughfares.
There are 95 Zaio team members working from the new 113,375-square-foot
facility, including staff, consultants, and – for the first time – all senior
officers. On March 30, Keith Sawottke, CPA, came on board as Chief Financial
Officer, joining CEO Thomas Inserra and COO Steve Oliver at the U.S.
headquarters.
Because Zaio’s new home is located in the Salt River Maricopa Indian Community,
CEO Thomas Inserra requested a blessing from the North American Indian
community. The community agreed, and we were privileged to hold a formal
blessing ceremony at our office. It is hoped that close ties with our landowners
will continue throughout the term of Zaio’s six-year lease.
“Our new home showcases our people and our products very well,” says Carol Cote,
Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
Cote was instrumental in co-coordinating and overseeing the move, along with
Cami Grevson, John Wojcik and Shaun Ripley, Manager of Network Administration.
We applaud them for helping us make a smooth transition to the new location.
