TEAMING UP WITH APPRAISAL MANAGEMENT COMPANIES TO WIN
Creative partnerships offer entry to inaccessible markets
At first glance, the concept of joining forces with appraisal management companies
(AMCs) may seem a little unusual. After all, AMCs may offer appraisal products that
some view as competitive to Zaio’s traditional appraisal services. But in certain
markets, working with the competition is the only way to gain access to lucrative
lender clients, and extend the reach of Zaio’s proprietary automated appraisal solutions.
“By teaming up with selected AMCs, Zaio has found a way to introduce our innovative
solutions,” said Jim Kirchmeyer, Zaio’s Chief Marketing Officer. “For each agreement
with an AMC, Zaio gains access to dozens of lenders and clients already integrated
and established with that AMC. Zaio just needs to connect with that AMC as an intermediary.”
Zaio’s partner AMCs benefit because they are always looking for ways to provide
their lender clients with faster service and higher quality – objectives easily
met with Zaio’s solutions. Zaio gives them that advantage, while still being price-competitive
to the AMC, due to advanced technologies and systems. Partner AMCs can also manage
large volumes of orders through Zaio, rather than only several at a time through
their individual appraiser partners. This reduces their processing, call center
and customer-service time, ultimately saving them money.
Zaio benefits because these are lender clients we might not have otherwise been
able to access. There is also a positive spin-off resulting from market exposure
and awareness. “We have an opportunity to introduce new, innovative products to
a new market,” said Kirchmeyer. “As lenders begin to try our products, other lenders
in that region will realize the benefits, and will want to adopt our technology
in order to remain competitive. This second wave of lenders will be approaching
us.
