Don Kelly – Chief Communications Officer

Mr. Kelly is Chief Communications Officer with Zaio Corporation. Mr. Kelly has 28 years of experience in the Washington DC area encompassing communications, government, finance and real estate. For 22 years, Mr. Kelly served the real estate and home finance communities initially as Legislative Counsel for the Society of Real Estate Appraisers. Mr. Kelly grew up in Florida and graduated from the University of Florida Law School before heading to Washington, DC and a staff position with the U.S. House of Representatives. He went to work with the Society of Real Estate Appraisers in the mid 80’s and later with the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Kelly ran the Washington, DC office for the association and was responsible for government relations, public relations and communications.

 
Mark Chapin – Managing Director, Zone Development and National Sales

Mr. Chapin is served FIS Valuation Solutions {formerly Hansen Quality} as Senior Vice President / Business Development. Prior to that post, Mark was Executive Vice President and Chief Appraisal Officer for Forum Technologies. From the late 80’s forward Mark served Record Data as a regional Chief Appraiser then spent twelve years as Chief Appraiser for General American Corporation where he developed that company’s national appraisal system at its peak employing a panel of 5500 professionals providing valuation and risk assessment services to the mortgage and investment industries nationwide. Mr. Chapin is a Trustee of The Appraisal Foundation, and is a two-term former Chair of The Foundation’s Industry Advisory Council, which is authorized by the U.S. Congress to promulgate official USPAP appraisal standards. Mr. Chapin is also a designated member of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers, a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, and has worked with The Title Appraisal Vendor Management Association.

 
Brad Stinson – Senior Science Officer

Mr. Stinson is the founder of Zaio. He began photographing entire cities from the street in 1995 while operating a successful residential appraisal business. Mr. Stinson’s early systems captured and catalogued 1.7 million digital real estate images across Canada. He was a mortgage underwriter prior to his appraisal career. His appreciation for appraisal accuracy and speed fostered some of the industry’s earliest appraisal software. In 1984 his appraisal team was completing appraisal reports in the field utilizing early laptop computers, mobile printers and instamatic cameras. Turn time for residential reports was often the same day, a revolution for that period. In the early 1990’s his appraisal software and systems were first to incorporate digital photos, electronic signatures, wireless data downloads from MLS servers and wireless appraisal delivery via a bulletin board service, all prior to the advent of the Internet. Mr. Stinson’s vision has always been providing exemplary service to mortgage lenders and others.

 
David L. Raskin - Chief Appraiser, Vice President of Operations

Mr. Raskin is a certified residential appraiser, with over 21 years of appraisal experience, both in the field and at the senior management operations level. With his 10 years experience with First American and its predecessor real estate appraisal companies encompassing the roles of assistant chief appraiser, chief appraiser, vice president of operations, and national manager for non-traditional products and quality assurance. In his three years at Realink Corporation, he significantly increased the Quality Assurance and Customer Services levels to be considered one of the top in the business. Mr. Raskin brings a wealth of operations and appraisal integrity to the Zaio team.
